Overview & Responsibilities / Aperçu et responsabilités

An opportunity exists for a Family Service Sales coordinator at both Forest Lawn and Ocean View Funeral Homes in Burnaby, BC to support the Sales Manager with daily activities. This position reports to the location Sales Manager.

 

-Assist Manager in preparing for and maintaining materials for training staff, sales meetings, sales related event planning and aid in recruiting and job fairs.

-Assist in handling documents relating to burial, cremations and maintaining funeral and cemetery records according to company policies and procedures and helping sales staff with contract processing.

-Also assist Manager in daily tasks relating to FSA’s productivity with memorialization, family follow up and other related items.

-Providing superior customer service to families

-Any other duties as directed and required by the position.

Requirements & Qualifications / Exigences et qualifications

 -Proficient computer skills, including keyboarding and MS Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, Access, Power Point) HMIS and Salesforce experience an asset.

-Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.

-Requires the ability to deal with privileged information in a confidential manner.

-Excellent communication and organizational skills.

-Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines.

-Professional telephone manner and commitment to excellence in customer service.

-Potential to grow into a leadership or Sales Manager role for the right candidate
