An opportunity exists for a Family Service Sales coordinator at Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Cemetery in Buranby, BC to support the Sales Manager with daily activities. This position reports to the location Sales Manager.


 -Proficient computer skills, including keyboarding and MS Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, Access, Power Point) HMIS and Salesforce experience an asset.

-Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.

-Requires the ability to deal with privileged information in a confidential manner.

-Excellent communication and organizational skills.

-Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines.

-Professional telephone manner and commitment to excellence in customer service.

-Potential to grow into a leadership role



 -Assist Manager in preparing for and maintaining materials for training staff, sales meetings, sales related event planning and aid in recruiting and job fairs.

-Assist in handling documents relating to burial, cremations and maintaining funeral and cemetery records according to company policies and procedures and helping sales staff with contract processing.

-Also assist Manager in daily tasks relating to FSA’s productivity with memorialization, family follow up and other related items.

-Providing superior customer service to families

-Any other duties as directed and required by the position.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • High level of comfort using computer systems within a sales environment
  • Previous experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is a plus
  • High level of integrity, dedication, and desire to succeed
  • Desire to help others and earn a competitive income
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
