  • Overview & Responsibilities / Aperçu et responsabilités

    GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

    Provides project support for corporate and field initiatives by researching, implementing and influencing to ensure a successful program execution. Understands and contributes to Operations Management objectives by adapting and improving processes and tasks associated with daily work functions. Provides support to the Operations Group as well as Records Reconciliation Team via detailed property records research, financial and statistical analysis and other property records analysis as needed.

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

    Project Support

     

     

    • Perform detailed review of property records with location to determine scope and reconciliation efforts
    • Utilize superior attention to detail to identify variances in location records including ownership, dates and transfers
    • Proven ability to use critical thinking for research and draw conclusions with limited instruction
    • Self-motivated, personal accountability for staying on track with or updating target goals as defined by the project
    • Maintains and provides data & statistics to Reconciliation Specialist for project analysis
    • Exercises good judgement and escalates questions/concerns as appropriate to maintain efficient workflow between Field locations, HMIS team, mapping staff etc.
    • Thoroughly and accurately provide supporting documentation for reconciliation of records, systems and property verification walks
    • Physically assist with property verification walks with location maintenance representative
    • Physically retrieve and file property records to assist with investigations
    • Assists in defining and creating improvement solutions to existing funeral and cemetery processes as well as corporate driven policies and procedures related to field operations
    • Works with group leadership to complete high priority projects and interacts with other corporate departments to manage data flow and deadlines.
    • Manage ad hoc reporting requests and identify reporting process improvements

     

    Requirements & Qualifications / Exigences et qualifications

     

     

    Experience:

     

    • A minimum of 2 years applicable work experience in area requiring strong attention to detail. Experience auditing contracts and records a plus

     

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

     

    Required:

     

    • Strong problem solving abilities
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook
    • Highly detail-oriented with a careful eye for quality control and presentation of work
    • Self-motivated and driven to produce results within tight deadlines and with maximum quality within allowed time constraints
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time

     

    Preferred:

     

    • Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot-tables, v-look-ups and other advanced functions)
    • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to speak in front of groups
    • Project management skills/experience
